Back To School:
Ideas For The Classroom

The Foundation has updated their Law Related Education Library not only with new materials, but also creating an easier environment to browse through the various lessons, curriculum and DVDs. The library is perfect for Language Arts, Social Studies, History and Civics instruction. Our resources include complete teacher curriculum packets, books, worksheets and more!

Legal Help Websites in need of Volunteers

The Foundation's 3 legal help websites need volunteers to help research questions submitted to the website. AzLawHelp.org, LawforKids.org and LawforSeniors.org all provide a particular audience help with a variety of legal issues. Users may submit questions through the website which are then assigned to a volunteer attorney or law student (who's answers are then reviewed by an attorney). No legal advice may be given, but users will be provided with what the current laws are for their situation and what resources may be available. If you are interested in volunteering for the website or other Foundation activities, read more

LRE Academy Begins August 20th

The Law Related Education Academy, partially sponsored by the Arizona Department of Education's School Safety Program, will begin sessions on August 20th. The Academies equip Arizona educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to implement LRE curricula, so that educators can instruct students on legal rights, responsibilities and the role of the citizen. The classes require students to practice the application of law in potential real-life situations. To learn more about the LRE Academy program, please click here.
